We are seeking a dynamic Assistant Housekeeping Manager effectively and efficiently assist in the daily operations of the Housekeeping Department. Will be responsible for providing quality service to ensure positive guest comments and feedback; demonstrate full knowledge of the hotel layout; and create a safe, comfortable and friendly working environment to enable the team to deliver an outstanding overall level of service. Will work closely with the Engineering Department to maintain effective room and public area maintenance program, and work closely with the front office in order to maintain an effective communication between both departments.
Requirements
Requires extensive Housekeeping leadership experience in a luxury hotel/resort property, effective written and oral communication skills, applied knowledge in creating work schedules, inventory supplies and cost supplies, and knowledge of P&L analysis and variance reports. Must possess the leadership ability to direct, supervise and maintain high morale among staff. Must be bilingual in English and Spanish and have experience in training entry level employees.
